Rainy Tuesday!

In the picture: Expected forty eight hour rainfall through 600 am CST on 03/09/2011. The forecast (made on 03/07/2011) is courtesy of the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY...AS A WARM
FRONT MOVES INTO THE STATE. THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING HOURS...WITH SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASING.

THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS WITH THIS SYSTEM AS THE COLD
FRONT ENTERS THE STATE...EVEN THOUGH THE FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH
AFTER SUNSET. THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AS THE STORMS
FORM INTO A LINE. HOWEVER...THE WIND ENERGY ASSOCIATED WITH THE
SYSTEM WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED TORNADOES. AS THIS
SYSTEM IS STILL EVOLVING.
